SEATED EXERCISE FOR HOME AND REHABILITATION

Arm & Leg Trainer.

Exercise your arms and legs together from your own chair or wheelchair. Combi Bike Plus uses your movement to drive a smooth, connected rotation, allowing a stronger arm or leg to help move the weaker limbs.

Developed and hand-built in Denmark by Lemco, with product guidance and local support from Movalize in Norway.

EXERCISE FROM YOUR OWN SEAT

Use together with chair or wheelchair.

Combi Bike Plus lets you train from an ordinary chair or wheelchair, without transferring onto a conventional exercise bike. It brings upper and lower body movement into one seated training session. Use it for regular exercise at home or as part of a guided programme in physiotherapy, rehabilitation centres, hospitals and care homes.

For people with reduced mobility

Seated exercise when walking or standing is difficult.

Rehabilitation & maintenance

Adjustable resistance for your training needs.

Home & professional use

Train independently or with support from a therapist or carer.

Who may benefit from this type of training?
LEMCO reports use among people with stroke and one-sided paralysis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and amputation, as well as older adults with reduced mobility.

Suitability depends on your movement, positioning and support needs. The user needs to be able to contribute to the rotation with at least one arm or leg. A physiotherapist or occupational therapist can help assess whether Combi Bike Plus is appropriate for you.

The stronger side helps the weaker side through the full rotation.

CONNECTED MOVEMENT. USER-POWERED TRAINING.

How one arm or leg can move both sides

How one arm or leg can move both sides
The arm cranks and pedals are mechanically linked. When you push or pull with a stronger arm or leg, the connected mechanism carries the other limbs through the rotation.

This allows both arms and both legs to move together, even when some limbs contribute little or no movement of their own.

A smoother rotation with BEAT Technology
BEAT stands for Body Energy Accumulating Technology. The mechanism stores energy from your effort and releases it at the more demanding points in the rotation.
This helps the movement continue smoothly when your strength is uneven. There is no motor driving the trainer: your effort powers the movement.

The stronger limb helps the weaker limbs

The linked cranks and pedals transfer movement between arms and legs.

Stored energy supports the rotation

BEAT Technology helps carry the movement through the difficult points.

Your effort drives the session

You set the pace and contribute actively to the exercise.

Whether Combi Bike Plus is right for you is best assessed together with a physiotherapist or occupational therapist.

BEAT TECHNOLOGY

An arm and leg exerciser without a motor.

BEAT stands for Body Energy Accumulating Technology. A built-in flywheel and fixed hub store the energy you put into the movement and give it back where the rotation gets heavy. It feels as if a motor is helping, but the user stays in control of every turn.

Because the user drives the movement, the training is active rather than passive. Many users prefer this to motorised exercise bikes, where the motor does the work.

Foot positioning

Pedals with integrated heel support

The heel support and pedal shape guide the foot into a stable position and reduce the risk of the foot sliding off during exercise.

One-hand operation

Easy-to-use Velcro straps

The foot straps can be operated with one hand. Together with the rotational lock, this makes setup more independent for many users with one-sided impairment.

arm and leg trainer

Key facts.

A robust arm and leg exerciser built for daily use, with integrated rollers for easy repositioning.

Combi Bike Plus is an arm and leg exerciser from Danish manufacturer LEMCO, supplied in Norway by Movalize AS.

It trains both arms and both legs together in one synchronized movement, from a wheelchair or an ordinary chair.

It has no motor: LEMCO's BEAT Technology stores and releases energy mechanically for a smooth rotation.

Because arms and legs are linked, a person with only one working arm can still exercise both sides of the body.

It weighs 38 kg, has 10 magnetic resistance levels (0–9) and three grip positions, and is delivered fully assembled.

Only the display needs power, from a long-life AA-size lithium battery.

LEMCO's design goal is 20,000 hours of use: 6 hours a day for 10 years.
